Quality Programs for All Children

     One thing that has been made clearer in my head is that knowing the history of field will assist in advocating more efficiently for a cause in that field.  Having the understanding why nursery school was started in the first place and understanding how the needs of society has changed in regards to the need for nursery schools or early childhood education.
      I think that currently the trend for early childhood is to make sure that a high percent of low income children receive quality care and early learning experience.  I am hoping in the near future that there will be a push to make sure that all children receive a quality early learning experience.
The sad thing about what is happening in society these days is that you have to be rich or poor to receive quality early learning experience.  I am hoping that in the near future that the working poor children will not be left out of this equation.
