My Supports

As I take this time to reflect about the factors that are supportive to me in my environment, many come to mind, however I will just share a few.
·         A place to live is very much a support that is present in my life.  It I had no where to live I would be homeless, for this I am thankful.
·         I have my family that I can depend on emotionally and spiritually.  Without them I would be a single mom, lonely, looking for childcare, physically and emotionally depleted.
·          A car that works is most definitely a supportive factor.  If I had no car I, It would be very hard for me to get to work.  There is not a bus to get to my job location.  If I couldn’t get to work, then I would not have this job and be able to get paid.  If I couldn’t get paid then I would not be able to take care of my personal needs.
·         Good health is a factor that I depend on daily.  The ability to get out of the bed and dress myself, the ability to fix my own breakfast and feed myself.  If I did not have good health I would have to depend on others to do everything for me. I am thankful.
·         My friends are a part of my support factors.  They give me someone to talk to when I can’t talk to anyone else.  I know that my friends won’t judge me they will just love me. If I didn’t have friends I would have to keep a lot of things inside and that is poisonous.
·           My relationship with God.  I depend deeply on the guidance of God and without that I would be lost.
Sometimes in life I think we tend to take things for granted.

  1. I didn't think of a house as a support, but if I never had one I think iit would be different. I also didn't think about a car. We never think about the non-living things for support. Thank You for making me realize the imprtance of the things I don't think about.
