Louise Derman Sparks speak of her passion to make a contribution to the world and that young children made her feel whole, I connect with this thought. Children make me smile and feel hopeful.
Another amazing quote that resonates with me: Raymond Hernandez mentioned that he believes that his passion stems from intrinsic motivation to help and create opportunities for more than what is in your neighborhood.
I agree, both speakers had wonderful quotes. I was also drawn to Raymond Hernandez. I feel that it is so important that children realize that they can become so much more than their surroundings.

ReplyDeleteJust listening to her voice as she speaks on passion validates that she knows her sweet spot. I feel the passion in her voice, and I see it in her face. I was thinking as I listened to her on the video how lucky those children were that passed though her classroom. I do feel that I connected with her quote, "children do make a person feel whole".
